🌊 Water & River Adventures

Three Rivers Estates Parks

As our guest, you have access to the private community parks and boat ramps within Three Rivers Estates. Whether you’re planning a peaceful picnic, an afternoon swim, or launching your canoe for a day on the water, you’ll find several scenic spots to enjoy. The neighborhood maintains multiple parks along the Ichetucknee and Santa Fe Rivers, each with its own charm! Some offer sandy beaches and swimming areas, while others provide shaded picnic tables, nature trails, and easy river access for kayaks and small boats. Check out the Three Rivers Estate Parks HERE.

Ichetucknee Springs State Park

Glide down the Ichetucknee River on a tube, kayak, or paddleboard — from a relaxing 45-minute float to multi-hour adventures through sparkling blue water. You can rent tubes, paddleboards, or canoes directly from the park concessionaire and catch a convenient shuttle back to your starting point.

When you’re ready to stretch your legs, follow one of the park’s scenic trails like Blue Hole, Pine Ridge, or Trestle Point, each offering peaceful walks through lush forest. This park is part of the Great Florida Birding Trail, so keep an eye out for herons, egrets, turtles, and river otters along the way.

Suwannee & Santa Fe Rivers

Beyond the springs, the Suwannee and Santa Fe Rivers offer quieter stretches of water — perfect for kayaking, canoeing, fishing, or simply drifting in the current. Pack a picnic, bring your fishing gear, and enjoy the wild beauty that inspired the famous song “Old Folks at Home.”

Ivey Memorial Park – Branford

Located right on the Suwannee River, Ivey Memorial Park is a local favorite for launching boats or taking riverside walks. With two boat ramps, shaded picnic areas, and connections to the Suwannee River Greenway, it’s a great stop for paddlers, cyclists, and families looking to relax by the water.

Blue Hole & Ginnie Springs

If you love snorkeling or diving, head to Blue Hole (within Ichetucknee Springs) or nearby Ginnie Springs. Both offer crystal-clear water, underwater caves, and incredible visibility — the perfect spots for cooling off on a warm Florida day.

Suwannee River Greenway

This 12-mile paved trail connects Branford to Ichetucknee and follows a historic rail line through shaded woods and over scenic river crossings. It’s ideal for walking, biking, or a quiet morning jog under a canopy of oaks and Spanish moss.

🧭 Tips & Insider Suggestions

  • Go early to springs & rivers to beat crowds and parking constraints.
  • Bring your own snorkel gear — rentals are available, but personal gear gives you flexibility.
  • Pack good water shoes — entry points can be rocky or slippery.
  • Check for closures (spring runs, entrances) before you leave — Florida State Parks
  • Ask locals — sometimes there are popup events, live music nights, or local markets that don’t always show up on big event directories. Check out the Suwannee County events calendar HERE
  • Bring layers — mornings and evenings can be cooler, especially inside shaded forest or near flowing springs.
